Wakayna embarked on a radio tour in Ho to promote his songs and spend time with On Air Personalities (OAPs) in the municipal assembly over the weekend.
During an interview with MCee Flexal on E-Hub at Swiss 93.7 FM, he was questioned about why he hasn't risen to the top or joined the ranks of A-list artists, despite being associated with a strong label composed of influential figures in the industry. In response, he calmly stated that success follows a gradual journey and cannot be rushed.
He drew a parallel between success and the stages of human life, emphasizing that just as we progress from infancy to adulthood through various phases, success also unfolds through a series of steps. Greatness isn't achieved overnight; it's a result of embracing the process and the different stages it entails. This approach allows artists to refine their skills and become well-prepared for the global market.
When asked whether history might repeat itself, with his predecessors having disappointed his manager and the management team in the past for undisclosed reasons, he alluded to his song "Nogokpo." Through the song, he conveyed that his hometown is known for its tranquility and harmony. He conveyed that if he were to fail in fulfilling his obligations as per the label's contract, he wouldn't hesitate to be held accountable. Even his community wouldn't support him for violating the terms of the agreement with his label. He expressed his intention to handle any future disputes in a peaceful manner to ensure the continuation of their collaboration.
