In a Ghanaian TV show interview in May, White revealed that 'Nine' is an international thriller that delves into the conflict between good and evil, centering around a storyline involving nine warrior assassins. While Chris Attoh played a crucial role in bringing the project to Ghana, White expressed her disappointment with the lack of support from the Ghanaian government.
The production of 'Nine' involved a talented crew of over 120 individuals and featured more than 50 actors. The filming took place in Accra, the capital city,
showcasing the vibrant culture and various locations of Ghana. However, Angela White faced challenges and openly shared her experience, emphasizing that she brought significant revenue to Ghana. Consequently, she expressed her intention to consider South Africa for her next project due to her unfruitful interactions with the Ghanaian government. White referred to the situation as a battle and expressed support for Idris Elba and other actors who have been actively championing Ghana's growing film industry.
As a filmmaker with an extensive portfolio, including works like '4Play,' 'The Last Letter,' 'The Sin Seer,' and 'My Favourite Five,' Angela White remains optimistic that the Ghanaian government will acknowledge the economic benefits and cultural exchange that foreign partnerships can bring.
