DJ Sena, also known as The Night General, is a renowned record promoter, DJ, and presenter hailing from Ho, Volta Region, Ghana. At Volta Premier 98.1MHz, he hosts the highly-popular show called the Night Club, where he skillfully blends hip hop, afrobeat, dancehall, and highlife music, while also shining a spotlight on talented emerging artists from the region.
Raised in Ho but originally from Dzodze, located near the Togo border, DJ Sena embarked on his DJing journey in 2017, learning his craft under the guidance of his mentor, DJ Slim. Rapidly gaining recognition for his exceptional skills and unwavering passion, he received three nominations at the prestigious Volta DJ's Award in 2023. Although he didn't secure an award that year, DJ Sena remains steadfast in his determination and optimistic about achieving his dreams.
Dubbed The Night General due to his commanding presence on the airwaves during nighttime, DJ Sena effortlessly keeps his listeners entertained, informed, and awake. Beyond his professional achievements, he is celebrated for his friendly, humble, and hardworking nature, alongside his deep love for music and community. While he draws inspiration from numerous creatives, his greatest source of motivation is none other than DJ Black.
