In a heartfelt initiative, Kpando has launched the "Share a Plate" project under the auspices of BMACA, with the gracious patronage of Okpekpewuokpe Dagadu IX, the revered King of Kpando. This benevolent event is a call to all orphans, widows, widowers, and elderly individuals in Akpini State to come together for a joyous gathering.
The event unfolded on Saturday,
January 13th, 2024, at the forecourt of Togbui Dagadu's palace in Kpando.
Festivities encompassed a range of activities, including the distribution of
gifts, a mega buffet, an exciting eating competition, and a captivating
artiste night featuring notable talents.
Among the distinguished
performers were Anabel, the winner of the Akpini Kids Reality Show 2023, as
well as Olivia and Success, the 1st and 2nd Runners-up of Akpini Kids 2023.
The program kicked off promptly at 11 am and reached its pinnacle in the evening with electrifying performances by guest artistes such as Kofi Bright, the melodious Melenyonyoo hitmaker Diwema, the talented Morgan Nero, Fiamor, Alapta Wan and Kpando's very own Kpankoraa hitmaker Doppy Santana. The renowned dancer Cybort and family also graced the stage, and the hitmaker Chief One delivered an unforgettable performance around 1 am on January 14th, 2024.
