Internationally renowned afrobeats and dancehall artist Stonebwoy has recently achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing 100 million streams on Africa's expansive music streaming and download platform, Boomplay. This accomplishment has earned him a membership in the prestigious Boomplay Golden Club, an exclusive group reserved for artists with exceptional streaming numbers on the platform. Stonebwoy now joins the ranks of esteemed African music icons such as Burna Boy, Wizkid, Davido, Fireboy DML, Joeboy, Omah Lay, Diamond Platinumz, and Rayvanny, who have all crossed the 100 million stream mark on Boomplay.
This achievement comes shortly after the release of Stonebwoy's fifth studio album, "5Th Dimension," under the Universal Music Group and DefJam Recordings. The album has already surpassed 20 million streams on Boomplay.
Exceeding 100 million career streams on Boomplay is a significant milestone that highlights Stonebwoy's wide-ranging appeal and further establishes him as one of Africa's most celebrated and influential musicians.
