The artist, known for winning numerous Dancehall awards in Volta, has earned the nickname "Dancehall Gladiator" of the region.
In an interview with YayraOnline, he explained the meaning behind the album's cover art, which features a blended image of himself with a metal Skeletal art, symbolizing the intense nature of the album, despite its diverse mix of genres. One song, in particular, a rap drill track, was highly recommended by his team.
Originally, the plan was to release the album before 24th July 2023, but the artist decided to make it a birthday gift to his family, friends, and fans worldwide. The EP was initially available exclusively on Audiomack and received over a thousand plays within seven hours of its release. It will soon be accessible on all other digital platforms.
Speaking about the songs on the EP, the artist mentioned that he surprised many people who only knew him as a multiple award-winning dancehall artist, as the EP is not solely focused on dancehall, unlike what they expected.
All the songs on "Sick-head" were mixed and mastered by Kush Elikem, the artist himself. The EP features collaborations with some of the finest acts from Volta, such as Kenny Ice on "Elemenawa" produced by Dylan, Japhinga on "Tugbedz3" produced by Lagat, Hairlegbe on "Story" produced by Hairlegbe, JJ Gonami on "Yemedzina" produced by Mr. Aborga, TUF B on "Odogwu" produced by Star 02, and finally, "Gbogboza" produced by Lagat, which happens to be the only solo project on the EP.
