Chicago Turned Up For Davido In Grand Style.

 

After taking a short break in 2022, Davido made a grand comeback in 2023 with the launch of his fourth album, titled 'Timeless.' This album has achieved remarkable success in its first week, breaking multiple records on all major streaming platforms.

Presently, Davido is engaged in his Timeless Tour across the United States, and his latest destination was Chicago, where he performed at the Credit Union 1 Arena, which has a capacity of 10,000 people. Similar to his previous concert at the Toyota Arena in Houston, which can hold 20,000 attendees, Davido delighted the crowd by delivering an impressive performance of his popular songs.

Since the release of his record-breaking album 'Timeless,' Davido has been continuously touring. Recently, he had the opportunity to perform his hit single 'Unavailable' at the 2023 BET Awards. He intends to maintain the high energy of his Timeless Tour in his upcoming show at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway in Boston.

During his concert that took place on July 7th, 2023, Edward Pollard, a Houston City Council member, was present and declared July 7th as Davido Day in Houston. 

“I, Sylvester Turner, Mayor of the city of Houston, do hereby proclaim July 7, 2023, as Davido Day.” He declared

In a letter issued by Houston City Mayor Sylvester Turner, the proclamation was made acknowledging Davido's status as a superstar and recognizing his significant contributions to the music industry through his popular songs.
