BTS’ First Book Shoots Up to No. 1 on Best-Seller Lists, Hours After Release.

 

K-pop supergroup BTS's official memoir, titled "Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS," achieved remarkable success shortly after its debut on Sunday, becoming a bestselling book. The memoir, authored by Myeongseok Kang, the editor-in-chief of Weverse Magazine, provides an extensive account of BTS's growth and journey throughout the past decade. Kang dedicated over three years to research and conducted in-depth interviews to compile this book.

"Beyond the Story" is divided into seven chapters, namely "Seoul," "Why We Exist," "Love, Hate, ARMY," "Inside Out," "A Flight that Never Lands," "The World of BTS," and "We Are." It is currently available in 10 languages, including the original Korean version and translated English edition. The book is expected to be published in a total of 23 languages, with the remaining 13 languages planned for future release.

One notable aspect of the memoir is its chronological structure, which includes a timeline showcasing BTS's album releases, concerts, accolades, and activities. Moreover, the book incorporates over 330 QR codes that allow readers to access additional content, such as music and videos mentioned within the pages.

The hardcover edition of "Beyond the Story: 10-Year Record of BTS" achieved a new record following its release. It swiftly climbed to the top spot on Amazon's music biographies list and secured the number one position on Amazon's best-selling memoirs chart.
