After the release of his debut, “Border Vibes” EP in April last year, Keeny Ice has decided to bless us with another addictive EP titled “Sound check”.
Soundcheck being his catch phrase or signature fits perfectly for this masterpiece of art. The 4 track EP serves as a gentle reminder to his fans old and new that their most cherished artist is still relevant and remains undisputed as far as music is concerned.
His versatility and pen game is top notch and still intact as displayed in all the songs on the EP. The cover art is very catchy and draws attention with the songs neatly listed on the back.
“My Way” is a HipHop- R&B fusion and an inspiration from personal experience. It urges one to keep focus on the greater good no matter the circumstance.
“Keeper” features Hairlegbe is a love song appreciating the little things ones partner does. Hairlegbe adds his vibe to make the song solid.
“Deja Vu” features Camidoh. You know how this song will go already. Known for his catchy hooks, Camidoh is a perfect candidate for this song. Adding his silky voice and vibely sensation gives the song a deja vu.
“Conquer the world” my personal favorite. A fine blend of pop and afrobeats is a motivational song charging winners to rise and conquer the world.
