Born in Ho, the Volta Regional Capital as WISDOM DELA BRUKU but known by his stage name KD BAKES, AKA ''The Melody Dey Kill You'' is a very good Afrobeat/R&B/Soul Singer/Songwriter, who is making enormous strides across the music scene in Ghana and beyond.
At a very early age, KD BAKES developed the love for music but held on until he got to the Senioir High School (Bishop Herman College), where he started nurturing his talent in a group called BELCE together with his former group member Camidoh.
KD BAKES, who graduated from Ho Nursing Training College in 2015 as a registered nurse furthered to Germany to complete studies in Theatre Ophthalmology in 2016.
He currently works at Richard Novati Hospital as a Registered Nurse.
How possible could someone combine these two progressions, music and nursing? That's the question on the minds of many, but the energy behind his passion is unspeakable and music they say heals the soul so he is able to blend the two for his patients.

KD BAKES is continuing to wow music lovers and fans across the world with his timeless single "Carry Me Away" a song he terms as "my breakthrough song".
His self-financed debut EP "The Rise" was dropped on 14th May,2020
