Seyram Dei,
also known in showbiz as Seyram Music was born and bred in Peki, a town in the
Volta Region of Ghana.
He made his
first composition at the age of 12 from a text in the Bible using Psalms 18.
After completing Accra Polytechnic now Accra Technical University, he decided to
follow his passion, music. He started learning musical instruments because he
likes listening to live music and also to distinct himself from other
musicians. He later fell in love with the guitar but could not afford the fees
to attend guitar classes so he devoted his time to watching YouTube videos in
order to master as many skills and lines he came across.
Speaking to yayraonline.blogspot.com, his dream is to
project the Ewe culture and language through music and he believes the Ewe
language is the mother of all languages. If the "Yeʋeviwo" will
recognize their value and strengthen themselves , they will regain their glory.
